About the Area
The 3rd Microbiome PT Summit is scheduled to take place at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Grand Auditorium). Surrounded by lush gardens, the foundation offers a picturesque setting with cafés and restaurants within walking distance (see map for details).
Situated just north of the city center, the meeting site allows convenient access to major attractions via a short subway ride. Notable places such as “Alfama,” Lisbon’s oldest and most iconic district with the historic Moorish castle, and “Bairro Alto,” the focal point of Lisbon’s nightlife, are easily reachable.
